The Law Enforcement Cancer Support Foundation (LECSF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals in the law enforcement community going through a cancer journey. LECSF is a nationwide organization driven by volunteers and supported by private donations. The network of mentors is comprised of law enforcement cancer survivors who are committed to serve others by upholding bravery, faith, strength and courage during a cancer journey.
In addition to support, the LECSF provides ongoing cancer education, emphasizing early detection and prevention to all law enforcement personnel.
The mission of the Law Enforcement Cancer Support Foundation is to provide a free emotional support system, guidance and resources to all members of the law enforcement community, during a cancer experience.
The Vision of Law Enforcement Cancer Support Foundation is to help those in the law enforcement community (City, County, State, Federal and Tribal), their families and loved ones, by providing one-on-one cancer support in a non-judgmental, empathetic manner.
- We are acutely aware of the impact cancer can have on anyone living with cancer. LECSF team members ensure all those in need will be treated with respect and understanding, regardless of prognosis.
- We are ecumenical in that its members are not exclusively affiliated with any health, religious or labor organizations. Personal information will be kep in confidence.
